La Terrace

On the top of the restaurant you will find the open air terrace, where cigars, cocktails, wine , beers as well as alcohol and non alcohol drinks with food to nibble are available.

With its view overlooking Hanoi , La Terrace offers a comfortable place to relax among friends and colleagues while looking at Hanoi's landmarks such as the Opera of Hanoi.

La Terrace is also the place for "The Spices School" organized for those interested in Vietnamese spices.

Each session lasts generally about 30 to 45 minutes, two ranges of spices are presented to attendants, one are spices that are often used in Vietnamese cooking, another one are rare spices that come from remote regions, mountains or from the minorities.

During the session, attendants can touch, smell and taste the spices directly, or they can taste drinks and dishes that have been seasoned or marinated with spices.

After the session, attendants should know from which region are the spices come from, how to use them and they should also be able to recognize them by smelling or tasting them.

Here are some pictures of our sessions in October 2007 for a group of Australian tourists and for pupils of 5th class at Hanoi International French School Alexandre Yersin.
